Rental home management in Aurora.
Aurora attracts tenants who want space, good schools and a quieter pace, often families relocating for jobs in York Region. Owners here include long-time residents and investors holding newer homes. We manage Aurora rental houses full-service, from screening and the lease to rent, repairs and a monthly statement with photos and invoices, so you can own the house without managing it.

Aurora, specifically.
Rental home management in Aurora: the local picture
Aurora's older core, around Yonge and Wellington, has Victorian and early 20th-century homes. Aurora Heights and Aurora Highlands have detached homes from the 1960s to the 1980s, while Bayview Wellington, Aurora Grove and Hills of St. Andrew grew from the 1990s through the 2010s. Tenants include families moving for local public schools and private schools such as St. Andrew's College, employees at Magna's head office and other corporate employers, and commuters using Aurora GO on the Barrie line or VIVA Blue on Yonge.
The Town clears all public sidewalks after snowfall, which many neighbouring municipalities don't, so leases mainly cover driveways, walkways and windrows. Large lots and mature trees mean more leaf cleanup, more eavestrough cleaning and, sometimes, a permit before a tree comes down. Much of Aurora sits on or near the Oak Ridges Moraine, so drainage and sump pumps need attention. Newer homes first occupied after November 15, 2018 are generally exempt from the rent-increase guideline. Owners living outside Canada face federal withholding on rent, and we keep year-end figures ready for them.

Do Aurora tenants need to clear the public sidewalk?
Usually not. Aurora clears all of its public sidewalks, a service many nearby municipalities do not offer. Tenants or owners still handle driveways, walkways and the windrow at the end of the drive, and we assign those duties clearly in the lease before the first snowfall.
Can you manage an Aurora home while I'm overseas?
Yes. We handle tenant placement, rent collection, maintenance and inspections, and send a monthly statement with photos and invoices. Rent paid to a non-resident is subject to Canadian withholding rules, so we coordinate with your accountant and provide the year-end figures they need.
