Email usHow do I pay rent?
By pre-authorized debit or Interac e-Transfer, as set out when your lease began. If you need your payment details again, contact us.
How do I request a repair?
Email hello@dfpropertymanagement.ca with your address, a description of the problem and photos. For emergencies — flooding, no heat, gas smell, no power, a lock-out — call (416) 555-0148 any time.
Will you give notice before entering my unit?
Yes. Except in emergencies, we give at least 24 hours' written notice, and entry happens between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Do I need tenant insurance?
Many leases require it, and it's strongly recommended regardless: the landlord's insurance doesn't cover your belongings or your liability.
How do I give notice that I'm moving out?
For a monthly tenancy, Ontario generally requires at least 60 days' written notice, ending on the last day of a rental period, usually on Form N9. Contact us and we'll guide you through it.
