Condo rental management in Mississauga.

Mississauga has one of the largest condo markets outside Toronto, centred on Square One and running along Hurontario. Tenants include professionals at the head offices around City Centre and Airport Corporate Centre, University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan students, Pearson airport workers and newcomers settling near family. Stock spans 1970s towers in Cooksville and Applewood to the newest glass downtown, and each era leases differently.

Condo rental management in Mississauga: the local picture

Mississauga City Centre, around Square One, Burnhamthorpe Road and Confederation Parkway, holds the biggest cluster, including the Absolute towers and newer projects such as Exchange District and M City. Port Credit has lakeside condos along Lakeshore Road near its GO station, and Cooksville and Hurontario south of the 403 have older high-rises. To the west, Erin Mills has towers by Erin Mills Town Centre and the Transitway. Transit links include MiWay, the Mississauga Transitway and the Hazel McCallion Line LRT along Hurontario.

Mississauga requires a licence for short-term rentals and limits them to the operator's principal residence, so investor suites belong on long-term leases. Square One towers are busy buildings: move elevators book up at month-end, some corporations require a deposit for each move, and amenity access is tied to tenant registration. Many owners in the newest towers closed recently and face carrying costs, so getting the first tenant in quickly is the priority. Older Cooksville and Applewood buildings are usually under the guideline and may see fees rise as major repairs come due. We keep you informed on both fronts.

FAQ

Mississauga questions.

Can I list my Mississauga condo on Airbnb?

Not as an investment property. Mississauga's short-term rental licence is limited to the host's principal residence, and many condo declarations restrict short stays further. We lease Mississauga suites on standard Ontario leases, usually for a year, which keeps you on the right side of both the by-law and your condo's rules.

Do you manage condos in Port Credit as well as Square One?

Yes. Port Credit suites lease to tenants who want the lake, the GO train and the Lakeshore Road restaurants, and they often command a premium over City Centre. We adjust marketing to each node instead of using one Mississauga template.
